Job Opportunity: Senior Backend Engineer (LLM Experience)

Pioneer Dev AI (www.pioneerdev.ai) is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer for a contract role. This position offers flexible hours and is fully remote. Candidates must be able to work at least 20 hours per week in the role. Full time contract is possible as well.

Our team currently consists of five talented engineers, and we’re excited to bring on a sixth to help us grow further. Together, we thrive on solving challenging technical problems and delivering innovative solutions for our clients.

Required Skills and Experience

• Deep expertise in TypeScript or Python (5+ years of experience preferred)
• Proven experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI-powered systems
• Attention to detail and perfectionist mindset—you write clean, scalable, and maintainable code
• Ideally, experience building voice agents or working on similar conversational AI projects
• Strong knowledge of backend development, including REST APIs and database design

Compensation

The range is $12.50/hr to $25/hr, depending on:

• Performance in the coding challenge
• Technical interview results
